The FR-S odometer ticked over to 40,000 miles this morning. I feel I am just beginning to enjoy everything this car has to offer. As my first car, it has been quite an experience.

Here it is all cleaned up to welcome the SF Bay Area rain this week. No dent in the image, just some shadow wizardry. A celebratory drive is in order this coming weekend, twisties of all varieties.

Nice, I just passed the 20k mark on mine. Props for having an awesome first car. Most of us have to suffer horrible pieces of misery for awhile first.

Thanks! Any mods on yours? I kept it stock for 15K miles and I think I hit a sweet spot now (upgrade wise) for the next 60K or so.

I spent all of college/grad school on buses or my bicycle, so this was a nice reward!

Staggered wheels and tires, but that's about it. I like your wheels, btw. Rays?

Nice!

Rota Grid-V (Volk/Rays replicas) 17x9. To be honest the wheels get a lot of internet hate but they have held up to 15K miles of track/canyon and daily abuse. Light and wide, a combo I see you appreciate as well.

It was my first foray into aftermarket wheels, Rotas are cheap enough I could just scrap em if thing go south. So far so good and I get a lot of compliments!

Yeah, I dig em.

I liked the whole tail-happy thing for awhile, but then i started to miss grip too much.
